Ask Questions

Questions about your future will give you a reason why you want to make this a reality.  Asking yourself benefits you to understand what you’re reasoning to make your dreams come true.

While you are questioning yourself, you may want to ask…

  • What do I want to achieve?
  • Where do I want to be a year from now?
  • Where do I want to be 5 years from now?
  • What will I do to make myself happy?
  • What goal have I wanted to achieve for a long time?

Actively imagine what steps you can take to make your dreams a reality.  While you are thinking about your future, you can use your creativity on how you can achieve your goals by taking baby steps.

If your thoughts don’t motivate you to keep track of your routine, always have a back up plan.  In that case if your future doesn’t go the way as planned, you won’t have to feel discouraged on how you want to make your dreams come true.

Find Images

While I’m finding my images, I’ll search on Google, Pinterest, even find some pictures on Canva with what I want to put on my vision board.  This may be the fun part but be careful what you want to put on your board.  You will be looking at those images on a daily basis.

If you want your vision board to look very aesthetic and realistic, then you can place images that:

  • Is most likely to happen this year
  • Place beautiful pictures that matches your aesthetic
  • Images of your goals
  • (to add on to it) Quotes that will encourage you to keep track on your plans

List Your Goals

Spend at least 20-30 minutes to write a list of goals about:

  • Health
  • Finance
  • Career
  • Family
  • Lifestyle
  • Travel (Even Small Travels)
  • Hobbies
  • Knowledge
  • Relationships

This will increase your skills of time management on how you want to balance your schedule.

Be Delusional

The healthy way of delusion defines making impossible goals.  With this in mind, you’re passionate about achieving that goal and able to achieve that goal that you are least likely to achieve and turn that into an accomplishment.

Journal in Your Thoughts

Now you know what to do before actively creating your board, take the time to journal so you’re not overthinking and burnt out from turning our dreams to success.

If you’re about to start your vision board now, I want you to take at least 10 minutes on what you can do to stay active on how you want to turn those thoughts to a reality.

After you are finished, you may begin to read the next few paragraphs.

While you are making your vision board, find a comfortable place where you can think creatively.  If you want satisfaction while you are visualizing, you can:

  • Light a candle
  • Play Music
  • Watch your favorite movie/TV show
  • Listen to a podcast
  • Open your window and get fresh air
  • Eat a healthy snack

Put Your Vision Board Somewhere You’ll Most Likely Look At

When you finish, place your vision board somewhere you can take 5-10 minutes out of your day looking at it.  You can save it as your screensaver, pin it in your room, or place it on your binder.

While you are looking at your vision board, you can set your daily goals on how you want to make your dreams come true.

Don’t cling onto it because your delusions are less likely to come true.  Take some baby steps, keep writing down your daily goals, and stick to your routines.
