26 Tips to Making New Beginnings on Your Journey

How often do you make changes to move forward towards your future? To make a better lifestyle, I found 26 tips of making a new beginnings for my journey.

I was afraid of making changes because I was scared of failing and what people would think about lifestyle. The feeling of attachment can be comforting and overwhelming at the same time and gives me negative thoughts running around my brain. However I found 26 tips of making a new beginnings for my journey and this was a life changing experience for me.

There are several things to do to relax and reset life to relieve tension and revive yourself.

If you feel like your life is falling apart, then you will be unable to reach your goals.  It’s time to turn over a new leaf and make some adjustments for yourself.  For example, learn from what you’ve accomplish in the past and use that power to make your new journey successful.

Resets are not always easy and exciting as we thought it would be, nor can it be overwhelming. We want things to stay the same because we are uncomfortable with the life we’re living in now. Keep in mind that you will find your purpose if you keep experimenting new things until you find your passion.

Decide on What Needs to Make Change 

What do you want to do with your life?  If you’re not liking the lifestyle you’re living in now, take charge for your life on what you can do to live a happier lifestyle. The more you think about what you want to change, motivate yourself to turn those thoughts to actions.

Set your Goals  

Setting your goals will help you achieve what you want to do with your journey.  It may be easy or overwhelming but you will feel relief after you achieve your goals. 

If you want a good start for your journey, take smaller steps by writing down your small goals to work your way up to YBP (Your Big Picture). Because you are learning your experience to gain inspiration and knowing what your passion and skills are.

Build a Routine   

Building routines is the best way to start and end you day. Cycling your tasks will help you develop good habits and better your time management because you are breaking out of your comfort zone and being productive to spread positive energy in your environment.

Reflect Your Current Situation 

The situation you’re in can be good or bad, but no matter what you can make change for the better.  Always remember that thing will happen out of your control the can and cannot be fixed. If you’re not liking the position you’re in, then you can change by doing the things you love or practice doing your coping skills

Picture Your Future and Future Self 

What are you passionate about?  As you know, many people think or say but will no take action on how they want to live their best dream. Your future is most likely to happen by ask yourself why and taking action on how much work you want to improve on living your dreams.

Let Go of Anything Weighing You Down  

If your current behaviors are not lifting you to success, then there are things you must let go of.  Things are most likely to weigh you down if you are holding grudges, jealousy, and hanging around the wrong crowd. Because you have a hard time letting go of the past and fear of being alone.

In order to let go of those negative feelings, disconnect and take time to yourself to gain your sparkle back again. Practice self care, go out on a solo date, and do a activity that you haven’t done in a long time to keep you entertained and inspire you to make a new beginning.

Declutter Your Living Space 

Decluttering your living space is one of my favorite ways to make new beginnings because it keeps you motivated on keeping a clean environment at home. If you have a hard time staying organized, make a chore chart to add to your schedule. Keeping up with your chart will give save you time next time you need to deep clean your space.

Take Time Off Social Media 

Social media can be entertaining but it can be time consuming by preventing you to enjoy the day. Taking too much time on your phone is a easy distraction because you are too focused on trends, comparing your life to others, and makes you unaware of your surrounding.

If you are bored and overwhelmed, detox from social media and participate in the activities and event you’re at and have fun with it. Another tip to detox from social media is not to use it after waking up and before going to bed.

Spend Time Getting to Know Yourself 

Knowing who you are will help you with what you want to do with your life.  The best way to know yourself is reconnecting with your inner childhood experience to understand what your strengths and weaknesses are.

Meditate Mindfully 

Get comfortable, lay back, and take deep breaths.  Mediation is a good way to help you relax, treat your anxiety, and dive deep into your thoughts. To make your meditation space more relaxing light a candle, find a quiet space, and smudge your room to get rid of the negative energy.

Be Kind to Yourself 

No matter how insecure you are feeling about yourself, you’re still standing here today.   Self kindness means you are learning to believe, gain more confidence, and falling in love with yourself. Take some time during your day to look at some positive affirmations to take on kindness for yourself daily.

Baby Steps and Take Breaths 

Starting from the bottom is what’s going to help you reach to the top. There’s no need to rush towards your goal because you don’t know what opportunities you’re missing out on during your journey.  By taking smaller steps, learn new experiences and have fun with it.

Don’t Hold In Your Emotions 

Being sad, angry, scared, and embarrassed doesn’t make you useless and weak.  In my opinion letting go of your emotions is a life lesson to help you get to know yourself more. Expressing your emotions means you are confronting your feeling and build a better relationship with yourself how you can turn your weakness into your strengths. It’s a new chapter you’re writing in your book because you are gaining more power and feeling in control by putting your happiness first.

Try New Things

Are you getting bored of the activities you’re doing?  This can lead you to unmotivated which is why you should find new activities to do.  Learning from new experiences will grow your mindset and helps you discover what your hidden talent and skills are. This can give you opportunities with what you are qualified for and make you successful.

Make a Plan and Take Action

Turn your thoughts into action because that’s one big step to YBP (your big picture).  Taking action on your activities will develop to make it a habit.

One Day at a Time 

Take one day at a time to make progress with your journey.  There’s no need to feel under pressure to getting the job done quickly because you will begin to feel unmotivated.

Start Loving Yourself More 

What do you love about yourself?  There are many reasons why you should fall in love with yourself.  In fact if you don’t know how to love yourself, how are you going to spread joy out to the loved ones?

Be Grateful 

Appreciating things is a practice of gratitude because you are expressing how thankful you are to have something a part of your life. You gain self respect when you learn about your past experiences and setting a good example for yourself.

Prepare For the Things That Will Eventually Fall 

Don’t have high expectations because things will not always go the way you planned. Yes, it is overwhelming when things don’t go your way, but you learn from you mistakes.

If you want things to go successfully, make some back up plans and be prepared for what’s next. The one thing you can learn is that you have new experiences and not give up on what you believe in.

Let Go of Control 

Feeling pressure can put you under a lot of stress.  It can get between you and your personal and work life. The best you can do is accept the truth and focus on what you’re good at.

Create a 5 Year Plan

Find Positive Habits 

Building positive habits helps you boost your mood up by doing the activities that are productive.  Any thoughts that come into mind that will help you grow, turn them into actions and that’s how you will develop them into habits.

Break Your Bad Habits 

Bad habits will lead you to depression and can hinder you to continue with your journey.  If you break those bad habits, it will help your brain to focus on the things that will help you grow your success.  

Live in the Present

Finding your flow is a good life change practice to help you control what you do, feel, and vision your lifestyle.  When you are living in the moment now will improve the relationship you have with yourself.

When you are living in the present think about where you stand now and write down your goals about your next journey.

Let Go of the Past 

Stop holding your grudges and holding on to the past.  We may be afraid of change and want to get our revenge, but holding on to the past will prevent you from moving on with your life.

Put Yourself First

Always put yourself first because the more you care about your well being, you will begin to make the best connection with yourself.
